Hermès Birkin was named after the uber talented Jane Birkin who was a very famous actress and singer in the 1980’s. This bag was created in the 35cm size initially as a practical bag that could carry all of the essentials needed for the modern day mother and working woman. Since its inception, the Birkin has taken on a multitude of forms, in different colours, leathers and sizes, also with may limited edition models being released. The most sought after on the general market place is the Noir colour, which is Black. This classic colour paired with palladium hardware which is rumoured to have been a hardware especially reserved for VVIP clients of the fashion house, makes this combination an easy to wear, style and love bag.
